The Kapsokwony–Kopsilo–Namwela & Malinda–Chesikaki–Cheptais–Chepkube Road Upgrade Project (RWC264) was a 50 km two‑lane asphalt highway completed between June 2017 and May 2022 at a cost of USD 24.29 million, delivered by New World Engineering. It involved extensive civil works including earthworks, culverts, cement stabilization, and double surface treatment.
